T-Girls rough up San Marin ace, but still lose

Published Wednesday March 15

…bad part was the 13 hits given up by T-Girl pitchers Ava Chabot and Emily O’Keefe. The ugly part…

The results were different, but the style of play remained the same for Petaluma High School’s T-Girl softball team in their 2nd game Thu evening.

Petaluma continued to hit well, but its pitching again faltered, and its defenders again made inexplicable errors. Not like in their opener against Montgomery when the T-Girl bats rescued a 13-13 eight-inning tie, the hits weren’t enough last week, and the Petalumans lost, 9-3, to visiting San Marin in a game that was called by darkness after 6 long innings.

The hit by freshman Weiand was one of 3 she collected in the game.
